My interest in flowers goes back to my childhood. On my father’s way to work, he discovered a part-time position available at a local flower boutique. Even though I was your typical athlete at the age of 15 who ate, slept and breathed basketball, I knew that I wanted a part-time job to help pay for my newly released basketball sneakers. When I wasn’t shooting hoops or traveling with the basketball team, I loved being at the Floral shop and playing with all kinds of blooms. Shortly after, I acquired a love for flower arranging, and have been pursuing it ever since.

Along the way, I received my bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management at Temple University – where I served my senior internship at a local hotel in Philadelphia, PA. This experience was eye-opening, as I saw the “behind-the-scenes” of the execution of special events, of all sizes, from a planner’s perspective. With my acquired experience of event planning, I wanted to combine my passion and love for flowers with event design. This is how Fabufloras came about. It is with my knowledge and excitement not only for flowers, but for their botanical counterparts – foliage, branches, herbs and succulents, that my work and projects are always given a fresh and distinctive look.
